From January 25 to 31, 2026, students, doctoral students, and employees of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Białystok participated in an international student scientific conference, The 34th Student Conference “Winter School on Mathematical Physics,” organized by the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, the Doppler Institute of the Czech Technical University in Prague, and the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Białystok in Jánské Lázně, Czech Republic.
Students and doctoral students of the Faculty of Mathematics presented the following papers:
The papers dealt with issues of contemporary mathematics. After the morning sessions, conference participants also had the opportunity to hike along beautiful, snow-covered mountain trails on Černá hora around Janské Lázně, which provided a good opportunity to establish active contacts with Czech students and doctoral students.
The pleasant atmosphere and good memories of the conference made the students declare their willingness to participate in further trips and scientific meetings of this type.
The scientific supervision of the prepared presentations was provided by the staff of our Faculty: Prof. UwB and Prof. T. Brzeziński, Dr. A. Dobrogowska, Prof. UwB, Dr. B. Kwaśniewski, and Dr. K. Zajkowski. Dr. T. Czyżycki was responsible for the organizational supervision of the entire trip.
