From June 22–26, 2026, the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Białystok hosted a scientific conference titled “XV School on Geometry and Physics” (XV School on Geometry and Physics). The main organizer was the Department of Mathematical Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Białystok, and the chair of the Organizing Committee was Dr. Alina Dobrogowska, Professor at the University of Białystok. Dr. Tomasz Goliński served as scientific secretary, and the organizing team also included Dr. Aneta Sliżewska and Dr. Tomasz Czyżycki. The Organizing Committee was also supported by researchers from other institutions, including D. Fernandez (Mexico), Daniel Beltita (Bucharest), Gerald Goldin (New Brunswick), Piotr Kielanowski (Mexico), and Tudor Ratiu (Shanghai).

The conference was attended by 18 researchers from various countries, including Poland, Argentina, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden.

The invited speakers included prominent experts:

• Krzysztof Marciniak z Linköping University, Szwecja,
• Suvrajit Bhattacharjee, z Uniwersytetu w Białymstoku,
• Manuel Gadella z University of Valladolid, Hiszpania,
• Eduardo Chiumiento z University of La Plata, Argentyna

In lecture series lasting four or three hours, they presented selected aspects of modern mathematics and mathematical physics in the broadest sense:

1. Stäckel systems, soliton hierarchies and Painlevé-type systems.
2. Groups, C∗-algebras and K-theory.
3. Infinite Grassmanians and operator theory.
4. Contact potentials in quantum mechanics.

XV School of Geometry and Physics was aimed at upper-level mathematics and physics students and young researchers. Classes were held in the building of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Białystok, located at 1M Ciołkowskiego Street. A formal dinner was organized for the participants.
